I think a brief history of Mr Vorhees, his family and his exploits would perhaps offer some perspective to the films he starred in.....

His mother, Pamela Vorhees, was born in 1930 and on June 13th 1946 one Jason Elias Vorhees was born to her and her then husband, Elias Vorhees. Jason was born with a physical deformity, possibly afflicted with a condition known as hydrocephalus. So in 1957, at the age of 11, Jason drowned whilst swimming at Camp Crystal Lake, and his body was never recovered. Despite Pamela Vorhees stating that Jason was her 'only child' (Friday 13th Part 1) a girl, Diana, is also born to the couple. In Friday 13th Part 9 Diana appears to be in her late 30s to early 40s, and therefore I would estimate that she was born between 1957 - 1965.Of course the question as to what happened to Diana when she was born remains unanswered, but upon looking at explanations I think that the most likely is that she was put up for adoption.

Therefore we have the main family characters - Mother Vorhees, Diana and of course the star of the shows - Jason Vorhees. We also have movie characters/survivors...Alice (Part 1), Tommy Jarvis (Part III, V and VI), Tina Shepherd (Part VII).....

The following sections will describe the main plots for each of the films he has starred in - beginning with Friday 13th Part 1 and concluding with the eagerly awaited Jason versus Freddy.  As with the other sections within this website I am looking for the ultimate killing machine, the slasher of all slasher's and so I have adopted a method which will culminate in the clash of the titans - but who will emerge the victor......
