Ain't no rats, you can be sure of that.

Sometime after the events in Critters 2, Charlie MacFadden is tracking down the
last of the Crites. A
family of three - Annie (the main protagonist), Johnny (her little brother) and
Clifford (the father) - stops at a rest stop when their car tyre goes flat. At the
rest stop, Charlie warns them and Josh, (who turns out to be the families landlord's stepson), about the
Crites. Of course the children all think that Charlie is a wandering madman
and leave him to his searching. As this happens, a Crite lays eggs under the family's car and the family
leaves, unknowingly taking the Crite eggs with them.
            Soon after they arrive at
their tenement, the Crites hatch and kill the maintenance man Frank. When the
landlord arrives, he too is eaten by the Crites after Josh locks him in
Clifford's room, unknowingly trapping his stepfather with the Crites. The whole
building becomes infested with the Crites, who destroy and attempt
to kill the remaining residents. It is the residents who need to
work together to survive - to escape the building and, in the process,
waste the Crites. Along the way dad realises how much his three
children mean to him, and the residents begin to value how effective
they are in working as a team. There is even the suggestion that
young love emerges with Josh (Leo De Caprio) and Annie. Of course
just when it looks as though the Crites will prevail enter Charlie,
who despite his bungling manages to save the day!!!
            As with the previous
two films there is of course the usual cliffhanger, suggesting that
another sequel is in the offing. On this occasion a containment
            pod sent from the
Intergalactic Council crashing into the basement.....
